BIO
Owain Hanford is a professional live and recording session drummer. After receiving a Distinction in his Grade 8 drums in 2016, Owain moved from his hometown of Hereford to study BA (Hons) Popular Music at Falmouth University where he graduated with a high 2:1. During his time at university, Owain gained valuable experience in both Recording and Live drums as well as collaborating with many important artists in the Cornish area. From this, Owain has gone on to play the drums on many performances which include live sessions on the BBC Radio 6, supporting artists on sold out shows and tours and has gone along to play many festivals. Now at the age of 24, he has relocated to the city of London to pursue a career in the music industry as a professional session drummer and has just finished a Postgraduate Degree in Popular Music Performance at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
MA in Popular Music Performance (Drums).
BA (Hons) in Popular Music - Graduated with a high 2:1.
Trinity Rock and Pop Grade 8 - 89% Distinction.
Level 3 Extended Diploma in Popular Music - Distinction, Distinction, Merit.
8+ Years experience in performing.
Ability to run backing tracks and experienced with Ableton Live 10.
Confidently can play to a click.
Comfortable in a live professional studio environment.
Loves all music and can make banging tea.
Used watching Hereford FC lose every Saturday
